K & M, Part 2

Here are more photos from the first shoot (now that they've seen them, I can post them) and a couple from the second part of the shoot. I was regrettably much less creative the second time around, but I was having a rough week. But I did get some really super fabulous shots, if I DO say so myself. :)

More Abby

Since Emily has seen these, I'll post more of Abby from the other day.

I know other people don't appreciate the vintage as much as I do, but this just works with it I think, especially with the houses in the background.

Escaping to eat leaves.

Redoing the pigtails. I love the trees in the background here. This is a new style of B&W for me. I like it.

Previews

Here is a preview of Abby's one year photos. I'm almost done working on the ones I like from that day, and we'll go out again somewhere else to take more.

And here are a few from the engagement shoot I had today. Oh my GOSH was it good. I had so much fun and they turned out so well. I rarely have that many good ones in one shoot. I think couples are my favorite to photograph. Plus, both Katie and Armando are super gorgeous!

This is Katie's daughter Olivia. She kept jumping in the pictures I was taking of K and A and we had to bribe her and distract her to keep her out! But I did take a few just of her. I love that curly hair! And her skin tone is the absolute best for pictures. Oh, so cute.

Stay tuned for more!

As always, the photos are my property and you should ask permission before downloading.

Silver Beach

I wasn't feeling entirely inspired yesterday, but I did get some good shots.

I was playing around with my f/1.8 with the lens wide open and I loved all of the shapes in the background.

I took this a little further down the road. I like the way the low contrast works here. The light makes it all bright and a little fuzzy. Sometimes I prefer it to the wild contrast black and white photos. This seems nostalgic and must softer.

I like the glowing edges here.

Lastly, at least for now, this is something that is a little busy. OK, a lot busy. But the colors and light are the kinds I like the best.
