This is something Caroline found on the ground. I saw it and felt like it could be really creepy if done right. It reminds me of the miniature killer from CSI.



















Caroline looks like she's just rising from the water. She and I collaborated on this shot. We took a lot before one actually came out.

I loved all of the intersecting lines in this. I just knew it would work in black and white.















This would look much better on a huge canvas. This is pretty much how it looked. It's funny, it looks nothing like the sunset from last year, which is pictured on the right. I think there must have been clouds last year. That other picture is one of my all time favorites. The composition was entirely accidental. I was just shooting silhouettes for a long time and this one looked like she was carrying stars in her bucket. How perfect.

Abigail

I was hunting for photos for my first post, and most of them are on my external hard drive. I do have a couple of folders of Abby photos. For those not in the know, Abby is my goddaughter. She'll be 1 in September. I get all sorts of good practice with child photography being around her. These are from the past month or two.

New blog

Dear Readers
I've decided to start a blog solely for my photography. I'll just post highlights of any jobs I get professionally, and anything else I'd like potential clients to see (or anyone who wants to see my art, really).

Note: I will be posting everything that I take of other people. This is essentially my portfolio and I'd like everything on it. Basically, if you ask me to do your photos, they become my art as well as the product for which you asked. I sound like I'm being snippy, and it's unintended. I'm just trying to clear this up beforehand. I love everything that I take and want other people to see it.

I can't promise I'll update this as often as my other blog, but I will update whenever I take new pictures! And please feel free to comment. I love getting feedback. I also love getting feedback on my OTHER blog, cough. Enjoy!
